Transforming our Hearts for 2025
PRAY
Throughout January, find a secret place dedicated to Jesus (closet, chair, bedside, etc). In that space, solely seek the Lord in prayer for 30 minutes.
READ
One of the ways we stay connected to Jesus is by reading His words and keeping His word.
"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."
John 15:7
If you aren’t currently on a bible reading plan, try reading the book of Luke. One chapter a day is a great place to start.
FAST
You can choose to fast from food, social media, TV, coffee, or multiple things. The purpose of fasting is not to get God's attention; He is already aware of our needs and wants to be invited into our situation.
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me."
Revelation 3:20
We fast to awaken our soul's desperate need for God.
While fasting, pray: “Jesus, help my soul understand my need for you is grater than a meal to satisfy my hunger.”
